2-1-13 Studying 1. I love to read the holy scriptures, And, ev’ry time I do, I feel the Spirit start to grow within my heart— A testimony that they’re true. 2. So, prayerfully I’ll read the scriptures Each day my whole life through. I’ll come to understand. I’ll heed the Lord’s command And live as he would have me do. Chorus Search, ponder, and pray Are the things that I must do. The Spirit will guide, and, deep inside, I’ll know the scriptures are true. 2-6-13 Deseret (clipart source: www.picstopin.com ) 1. In our lovely Deseret, Where the Saints of God have met, There's a multitude of children all around. They are generous and brave; They have precious souls to save; They must listen and obey the gospel's sound. (Chorus) Hark! Hark! Hark! 'tis children's music-- Children's voices, oh, how sweet, When in innocence and love, Like the angels up above, They with happy hearts and cheerful faces meet. 2. That the children may live long And be beautiful and strong, Tea and coffee and tobacco they despise, Drink no liquor, and they eat But a very little meat; They are seeking to be great and good and wise. 3. They should be instructed young How to watch and guard the tongue, And their tempers train and evil passions bind; They should always be polite, And treat ev'rybody right, And in ev'ry place be affable and kind. 4. They must not forget to pray, Night and morning ev'ry day, For the Lord to keep them safe from ev'ry ill, And assist them to do right, That with all their mind and might They may love him and may learn to do his will. Text: Eliza R. Snow, 1804-1887 Music: George F. Root, 1820-1895

2-12-13 Jesus And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13) If with all your heart ye truly seek Me, Ye shall ever surely find Me, Thus saith our God. If with all your heart ye truly seek Me, Ye shall ever surely find Me, Thus saith our God. Thus saith our God. Oh, that I knew where I might find Him, That I might even come before His presence. Oh, that I knew where I might find Him, That I might even come before His presence, Come before His presence. Oh, that I knew where I might find Him. If with all your heart ye truly seek Me, Ye shall ever surely find Me, Thus saith our God. Ye shall ever surely find Me, Thus saith our God. 2-22-13 Jesus Blesses
After Jesus was resurrected, He visited the people in the Americas. What a beautiful account of His love and kindness to His other sheep, as He healed their sick and blessed their children.

"At the time of my call to this sacred office, an invitation was given for all members of the Church to establish the temple of the Lord as the great symbol of their membership and the supernal setting for their most sacred covenants." (President Howard W. Hunter)
